Eli Thornock, DDS

I’m Dr. Eli Thornock, and I grew up right here in the Tri-Cities, WA (Go Lions!). I have always wanted a career where I could help others and make a genuine difference in their lives, but it wasn’t until college that I had the chance to observe dentistry first-hand, and discovered it was the perfect fit for me. As a dentist, my highest priority is to create a great experience for each one of my patients!

After high school, I attended Brigham Young University where I graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Exercise Science. I went on to study dentistry at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, graduating in 2011. Following graduation, I continued to practice dentistry in the Puget Sound, WA area before returning home to the Tri-Cities in 2020.

Throughout my career, I have made continuing education a high priority, to be able to provide the best that dentistry has to offer to my patients. I have been a member of both Spear and Seattle Study clubs, am member of The American Dental Association and Washington and Benton/Franklin Dental Societies as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. I have taken advanced training in endodontics, oral implantology and have been certified with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics for cosmetic procedures including Botox and dermal fillers. I am currently pursuing a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry.

My wife, Maggie, and I have 3 young children that keep us busy! We love spending time outdoors—camping, hiking, and exploring, or indoors—learning Jiu-Jitsu, having movie nights or playing laser tag.

Jamie, Dental Hygienist

My name is Jamie West. Since the 6th grade, I knew I wanted to be dental hygienist. Not many people say they have had their career picked out from the age of 11; however, I knew in 6th grade I wanted to pursue dental hygiene. My path was set and with that, I attended Eastern Washington University earning my bachelor’s degree from their prestigious program in 2008. I have proudly been a registered dental hygienist for 15 years and am grateful my young self-envisioned this as my future. While serving different communities over my time as an RDH, I’ve focused on establishing a positive rapport with my patients. This is one of my favorite parts of being an RDH which enables me to provide proper care and advice for oral health. Prior to college I grew up in the Bavarian tourist town of Leavenworth, WA and still enjoy returning to visit my family and friends. I now call this great Tri-City community home and reside here with my husband, young daughter, and beloved dog. They are my top priorities in life. If I do find free time, I live to fill it by planning trips and traveling around the world. Looking forward to seeing your smile!

Sandy, Front Office

Hello everyone, my name is Sandy, I was born in Yakima and graduated from A.C Davis High School. After graduation I moved to the Tri-Cities and have been here ever since. I have an amazing husband and an awesome son who just graduated from Central Washington University. I enjoy bike riding along the Columbia River and spending time in the kitchen cooking with my son, as he is always finding something unique to prepare. I also love to travel and have been to several amazing places.

I began my dental career as a patient coordinator thirty years ago and have been working at Richland Dental Center the past 24 years. My current role as a Patient Care Coordinator allows me to interact with a variety of patients, many of whom become lifelong friends of mine. I am very passionate about getting to know all our patients and making sure they receive quality service and the attention they deserve from our office.

D’Anna, Front Office

My name is D’Anna Peterson. I have been working in the dental field for 35 years. I started as a dental assistant, and I fell in love with this profession! I became an expanded functions dental assistant and worked my way around the dental office from assisting to coordinating finances. I graduated from Grandview High School and continued my education at Yakima Valley Community College.

Being dedicated to providing the highest quality care in a friendly and educational environment is what I enjoy most about my job. After hours I love spending my time baking, golfing and traveling the world (16 countries). I am an outdoor gal to the core: you will find me at football, soccer games, beach volleyball and snorkeling at exotic places. Something I’d like to share with you “Success is not measured by the number of transactions but by the positive impact we make on people’s lives”.

Maycee, Assistant

My name is Maycee, I have been working in the dental field for 3 years as a dental assistant alongside Dr. Thornock!
